Eight days until I leave for Namibia...I can't believe it. After three years of wanting to go to Africa, I can't believe I'm finally getting the chance.
Anyway, I just wanted to ask you guys to keep me updated on everything going on back at home. I guess that means family stuff, friend drama, the weather, etc. You get the idea. I supose you can post comments here on my blog (you may only be able to do that if you have an account- I'm not sure) or email me at katrina at lipinsky dot com.
Also, if you guys have a skype account, we will be able to talk on the phone while I am away. You can visit www.skype.com to download skype for free. Basically Skype is a free internet telephone service. All skype to skype calls are free, and if you buy an account with skype, they have really good skype to landline rates (especially for international calls). It also serves as a messaging service, sort of like AIM. Anyway all you need to do is download skype and buy a headset. If you end up getting skype or have it already, let me know what your skype name is. Mine is katrina.lipinsky or e51073 (either).

I am so proud of you, I can;t find the words to express me feelings. You are an amazing woman, with an amazing vision and I am so very proud to say I know you.
