Ok so last night a bunch of friends came over for a surprise going away party! My mom came up with the idea and my dad contacted Bell, a walkabout friend, and Becky, a John Jay friend, and asked them to invited a couple people each. Actually, it wasn't a total surprise because last week at dinner Mom slipped and told me about it. But it was so much fun. We went to party city yesterday and got all this Hannah Montana stuff; a poster, Hannah balloons, plates cups napkins spoons, a tablecloth and centerpiece- ALL Hannah Montana! It was so funny. We also went to Shoprite and got 6 flavors of ice cream for ice cream sundays! Anyway we ended up playing Apples to Apples (which is the best game EVER) and cards and singing to rent and going totally crazyyy. I had a blast. It was amazing to see friends for the last time before I leave. I really have the greatest friends in the world :) I posted some pictures at the top of the page!

Oh My KJ...I cannot believe it's January 14th at 8:10 pm and I missed you! I am such a stinky Aunt. I wanted to call and wish you a safe and wonderful trip. You know how concerned I am about your going so far away. Please be safe and embrace every moment of your trip. This is an experience that very few get to have and we will all be thinking and missing you very much. I will try to visit the website often and hear your updates!

Katrina, It is 10:15, and the tv asks do you know where your children are? I do. Gev is here, and you are in the air over Africa. In 90 minutes you'll be setting foot on a continent that neither Dad nor I have been on! What an adventure. I have been thinking of you and EVERYONE is excited and looking forward to hearing about your trip.
